In 2018, EPPC was commissioned by the EM Lyon business school to assist in the development of the program, the preliminary financial analysis, and the assistance in selecting the winner of a real estate promotion contract (CPI) in order to develop the school’s new global educational hub in Lyon Gerland.
The program covers an area of 29,000 m² and can accommodate up to 7,200 learners per year. The project, worth over 100 M€ HT, is characterized by the development of spaces whose design and operation are open to partnerships between the school and professionals in the event management, catering, and user experience sectors.
Following a competitive dialogue, Altarea Cogedim’s bid was selected at the beginning of 2019.
Since this designation, EPPC has been providing a mission of assistance to the contracting authority in the drafting of the CPI contract, the stabilization of user needs, and the business model for operating the school’s partnership spaces (Cœur Battant, Labs…).
Thanks to its ambition, its size, the particularities of its programming and its organization, this operation is a sign of innovation for European higher education.
