Knowledge Quartiers – global examples of successful urban integration and positive externalities
EPPC positions itself as a key player in the real estate sector in the higher education sector.
EPPC, with the support of its international subsidiary EPPC VA, commissioned by a private client, produced a global audit of the knowledge districts in the first quarter of 2020, including a visit to the sites, meetings with key stakeholders, the reconstitution of business models, observation of the interactions between educational programs and their urban environment (third-party markets, residential areas, commercial areas...), as well as adapting the analyses carried out to a French project environment.
The sites studied are all located in the United States (California & Massachusetts), the Netherlands, Switzerland, Denmark, Sweden and Australia (Victoria & New South Wales).
This analysis will be complemented in the coming months by the study of localized experiments in Spain, Finland and Singapore.
